Excel.Net, Inc. December 6, 1999
			      Newsletter #26
			      ==============

1. MODEM UPGRADES - Our manufacturer has released a set of modem updates
for our servers and we are planning to upgrade the terminal servers this
evening starting at 11:45pm. If you are online at this point you may get
knocked off, but you will be able to dial right back in and get
connected. According to the release notes that we received, this should
address some compatibility problems we have seen with specific modems and
possibly increase reliability as well. This upgrade will take
approximately 1 hour, but each of our local calling areas should only be
affected for a couple of minutes.

2. GREEN BAY AND OSHKOSH - Excel.Net has expanded our service into the
Green Bay and Oshkosh areas. If you have any friends or relatives in that
area, who you think would love to be part of the Excel.Net family we would
ask that you let them know. As an added incentive through the end of the
year we will give all of our customers double the referral credit ($10)
for each account they get signed up in either of these areas! To see a list
of the covered areas go to:
	http://www.excel.net/info.html#callingareas

3. CHRISTMAST GIFT - Not sure what to give your friends and relatives
for Christmas this year? How about an Excel.Net gift certificate? Gift
certificates can be given in any amount. If you are interested in
getting one please stop by our Sheboygan office during business hours and
we will be glad to help you. Our office is located at 729 Pennsylvania
Avenue in Sheboygan.

4. ADDITIONAL LINES - We have ordered an additional 24 lines for the
Plymouth location which will bring the total out there to 192! The lines
are scheduled to be added December 16th. We will also be increasing the
line count in the New Holstein area to 24 as we have seen increased
activity in that area. We have not yet been given a date for the line
increase in New Holstein. As always we continuously monitor line usage in
all of the areas and will add additional lines before there are any
problems.

5. COMPANY PARTY - The Excel.Net christmas party for our employees is
scheduled for this coming Saturday, December 11th. To ensure that all of
the employees are able to attend, we will be closing our offices at
5:00pm that evening instead of the normal 6:00pm hours. We will be open
on Sunday, December 12th at the regular office hours (12pm-6pm) so please
leave a message if you have any questions and we will be sure to return
your call.

6. INTERNET EXPLORER 5.01 - There is a new version of Internet Explorer
available for Windows95/98/NT customers. For those of you interested in
getting this update you can check out our web site at:
		http://www.excel.net/tools.html
and follow the Windows 95/98 or NT link. If you would like to see the
list of changes that have been made in this version please take a look at:
		http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/q244/6/55.asp

7. CORRECTION - The last newsletter incorrectly stated that we added an
additional T1 to each the Fond du Lac and Appleton locations. To correct
this each of these sites have one T1 connecting them to the Internet and
Sheboygan has a 2MB ethernet connection. We also have a redundant link
between the Sheboygan and Fond du Lac sites for added reliability.

Thank you for taking the time to look this over. If you have any
comments or suggestions for future newsletters please feel free to let us
know by e-mailing techsupport@excel.net. We appreciate your business and
hope that your Internet experience is enjoyable.
